Investing in the musical life and legacy of Philadelphia

Donate

The Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia invests in the cultural life and musical legacy of the Philadelphia region by supporting local music institutions, advancing the careers of exceptional young artists, and building community around music.

MFS connects, educates and activates that community through a variety of programs, including institutional grants and partnerships, awards to emerging artists, special events, and programs and services for members; we see this work as a catalyst leading to a more inclusive and vibrant musical Philadelphia.

Your donation to the Musical Fund Society Foundation makes that work possible!

Donating Appreciated Stock:
Please email admin@musicalfundsociety.org for the DTC and account number required to transfer stock to the Foundation. You avoid capital gains on the appreciation, so your gift goes further!

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA:
If you are subject to a Required Minimum Distribution, making a QCD directly to the Foundation eliminates that amount from your taxable RMD income. Note: As QCDs typically come from the IRA custodian and may not clearly identify the donor, please let us know to expect it so that we may properly acknowledge your generosity.

Donor Advised Fund:
Ask the administrator of your DAF to make a gift to The Musical Fund Society Foundation.
