Join us on May 20, 2025 at the American Philosophical Society’s Benjamin Franklin Hall for our annual Spring Celebration!

Each spring, we present a festive evening of food, wine and fun with friends as we announce the winners of major awards given by the Musical Fund Society, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes an individual whose work represents a significant contribution to the rich cultural life and vibrant musical community in the city of Philadelphia.

This year, we’re thrilled to present the award to Andrea Clearfield, composer and host of Philadelphia’s long-running and genre-crossing Szalons; we’ll be joined by the Erinys Quartet performing Andrea’s if each day falls inside each night, a new work commissioned by the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society. We’ll also introduce the exciting winners of our 2025 Career Advancement Awards, for emerging young performing artists of exceptional talent and promise.
