The debut concerts of a new orchestra,  Chamber Orchestra FIRST EDITIONS, will be taking place   on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 21, 3 PM, at Swarthmore College’s Lang Concert Hall, and on Friday evening, Feb. 26, 7:30 PM, at Haverford College’s  Roberts Hall.  Both concerts are free and open to the public without ticket.

• The concerts will be premiering new commissioned works by Cynthia Folio and Heidi Jacob.
• The soloist in Mozart’s  K. 271 piano concerto will be Charles Abramovic.
• Discussion with the composers, the soloist, orchestra members, and audience will be an important aspect of every FIRST EDITIONS program.
