    Please enter the amount of your grant request. Grants generally range from $2000 – $6000. Reminder: the grant request MUST fall between 10% – 50% of the total project cost entered above.
  • Please provide a short summary of your project (1-2 sentences) for use on the MFS website, if your project is funded.

    Please provide detailed information to the questions below. Although we have word limits for most questions, there is no penalty for shorter answers.
  • Please provide a description of your organization, including its mission and a brief history, including a description of your most recent 2 years of programming. (Limit: 400 words)
  • ^^ Please describe the details of your project, including specifics where available (such as artists involved and their experience and/or qualifications, dates, venues, project activities and timelines, collaborating partners, etc.). (Limit: 1000 words.)
  • ^^ Please describe how your project supports and/or furthers the mission of your organization. (Limit: 300 words)
  • ^^ Please describe your organization’s ability to complete your project. This may include details related to organizational staffing, financial resources, volunteers available, board or partner support, recent program activities, or other relevant information. (Limit: 300 words)
  • ^^ Please describe what role diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion (DEAI) plays in the planning of your project and/or your organization’s planning and programming. (Limit: 300 words)
  • ^^ Please provide a list of current (FY2025) staff and board members, including titles for staff and professional affiliations for board members.
  • If your project includes a ticketed event, are you able to offer discounted admission for MFS members? The amount and method of any discount will be at the organization’s discretion. Please answer YES, NO, or N/A. NOTE: This question is asked for internal administrative purposes only; it is not included in the evaluation process.

It’s acceptable for this information to be tentative; we ask for it in order to better understand how your proposed project fits into your current plans for your organization’s season.
