Grantee News: The Mann Center

This month, we are delighted to spotlight MFS grantee, The Mann Center for the Performing Arts, and their premier summer program, the All City Orchestra Summer Academy (ACOSA). ACOSA is the Mann’s flagship orchestra training camp, dedicated to young instrumentalists. The Mann Center, in partnership with The Philadelphia Orchestra, the School District of Philadelphia, and Project 440, annually collaborates to facilitate this high-quality training experience at zero cost to local students.

ACOSA is designed to serve students from 6th grade to 12th grade and to provide a growth opportunity, guiding students to work on technical orchestral and jazz playing skills throughout the summer.
